Bike Experience Afterwork

Step 1: Learn how to travel across town at full speed.

Training session to review helpful tips for urban cycling

A short training session to review helpful tips for urban cycling together, as well as specific elements of the highway code. The session is followed by a ride through the streets of Brussels. We’ll end the evening with a drink, for an opportunity to get to know each other better and - why not – find yourself a personal coach.

Don’t forget...

  • Bring your own bike or let us know if you’d like us to make one available to you.
  • Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.
  • Invite your friends, colleagues or families. They might like to improve their travel experience too.

Biker's words

My bike is a form of transport that allows me to exercise at the same time. When you’re a mum and you work full-time, finding time to exercise isn’t easy. So I said to myself, why not kill two birds with one stone - travel while exercising. And the risk really paid off, as now I make almost all of my journeys by bike.

Who can participate in Bike Experience?

Bike Experience is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, who knows how to ride a bike (i.e. can at least keep their balance and ride in a straight line) and wants to use it to get around Brussels.

I have already completed Coach/Biker training from a previous edition. Do I need to do it again?

No, in this case there’s no need to retrain. Contact us to be paired up with a buddy by email: or phone 02 318 84 07.

Can I buy the bike that was loaned to me?

No, this is unfortunately not possible. If you wish to purchase a bike, you can consult the list of bicycle dealers in Brussels or buy a used one. Learn more.
